Albert Einstein Healthcare Network Announces 2010-2011 Board Appointments

    Philadelphia, PA, July 28, 2010 – Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, one of the largest providers of healthcare services in the Philadelphia region, has announced new board appointments for fiscal year 2011.

Richard C. Sheerr was elected to his second term as Chairman of the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network (AEHN) Board of Trustees, the governing body of the organization, and AEHN Board of Overseers, which serves in an advisory and fundraising capacity. Mr. Sheerr, of Philadelphia, is the President of The Wagman Primus Group, LP. He has been a member of Einstein’s Board of Trustees since 1992, at which time he also was serving as the Chairman of the MossRehab Board. That same year, MossRehab joined the Einstein network.

Ten new members were elected to Albert Einstein Healthcare Network’s Board of Overseers:

Rev. Bonnie Camarda, of Philadelphia, is the Director of Partnerships for the Greater Philadelphia Salvation Army and President of the Hispanic Clergy of Philadelphia.
Douglas Cosgrove, MD, of Philadelphia, is a psychiatrist and Acting Medical Director of Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment, the private psychiatric hospital that is part of Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. Dr. Cosgrove will also serve as an Ex-Officio member of the Albert Einstein Healthcare Services Board of Trustees.
Alison Korman Feldman, of Ambler, Penna., is Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Management for Korman Commercial Properties based in Trevose, Penna.
Steven J. Kessler, of Philadelphia, is Chairman of the Board of Resource Capital Corp., a specialty finance company that is organized and conducts its operations as a real estate investment trust.
Susan Kline Klehr, of Philadelphia, is an interior designer. She is the immediate past president of Congregation Rodeph Shalom in Center City Philadelphia, and serves on the boards of Franklin and Marshall College and Operation Understanding.
Shawn N. Orenstein, of Blue Bell, Penna., is President of Kistler Tiffany Benefits, an employee benefits consulting firm in Berwyn, Penna.
Clifford D. Schlesinger, of Bryn Mawr, Penna., is a Managing Director of the Goldman Sachs & Company Strategic Wealth Advisory Team. He is based in Philadelphia.
Nancy Shrier, of Rydal, Penna., is the new Chairman of the MossRehab Advisory Board and will serve as an Ex-Officio member of the AEHN Board of Overseers. Ms. Shrier is a long-time member of the Friends of Moss and a retired elementary school teacher from the Wissahickon School District.
Cary W. Toner, of Malvern, Penna., previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the Toner Organization, an independent insurance brokerage organization, and as Chairman of iPipeline, a software company he co-founded.
Paul H. Weiss, of Blue Bell, Penna., is President of Techni-Tool, Inc., in Worcester, Penna., distributor of quality hand tools, production aids and instrumentation.


In addition to the new board appointments, Steven Berk, Esq., of Ardmore, Penna., was elected to his second term as Chairman of the Albert Einstein Healthcare Services Board of Trustees. Mr. Berk is a partner with the law firm of Segal, Berk, Gaines & Liss in Philadelphia.
Jane F. Hoffer, of Wallingford, Penna., was elected to her second term as Chairman of the Albert Einstein Physician Services Board of Trustees. Ms. Hoffer is currently the CEO of BrainRewards, Inc.
