CARF International—accredited programs and services have demonstrated that they substantially meet internationally recognized standards. According to CARF, accreditation means that patients can be confident that an organization has made a commitment to continually enhancing the quality of its services and programs, and has consumer satisfaction as its focus.
‘This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows our substantial conformance to CARF standards,’ said Ruth Lefton, COO of MossRehab and Einstein at Elkins Park. ‘We see this achievement as an indication of our dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life for the people receiving our services, which includes our comprehensive stroke and amputee specialty programs and rehabilitation of persons with brain and spinal cord injury. CARF also cited many areas where Moss demonstrated exemplary performance, particularly in our many advocacy programs for persons with physical disabilities.’
